Kia ora koutou

Following our earthquake on September 4 Jase and I gave financial support to a couple of families in the hard hit area of Bexley. We wanted to give targeted practical assistance. We went to the local MP for Chch East Lianne Dalziel who identified two families specific needs and we simply credited money directly into their bank account. Although our support was anonymous both families have passed on, through Lianne, cards and photos of their children with thanks and gratitude.

They said it felt like they had a guardian angel, someone who was watching over them and who cared.

For us it meant we helped two families get up each morning and keep going…we kept two families together and for us family is the foundation to rebuilding our future here in Christchurch.

Many of us have gifted malaria nets, chickens and goats and brought water for neighbouring nations. Families closer to home need your help now… temporary accommodation, food, medical supplies, household storage, petrol, a bike…

We are working with all Christchurch’s electorate offices and MP’s to identify families that need your help now. Families needing assistance can make direct contact with their MP who will then pass their information to us. The information we will need is;
